I'm Marc, 24, from Switzerland. For as long as I can remember, nature has been my happy place. At 19, I moved to South Africa for a year to train as a professional field guide through FGASA, working as a safari guide in the Balule Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger area.

Since then I have returned to Africa two to three times a year, focusing mainly on what I consider the three best self-drive safari destinations: Kruger National Park (200+ days on safari), Etosha National Park (50+ days), and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (20+ days).

Photography found me somewhere along the way as a natural extension of that love. Being out in nature so often, I naturally started wanting to capture and hold on to the incredible moments I experience. Wildlife photography has since become my greatest passion.

For me, there is nothing better than being out in the bush at first light or during golden hour in the late afternoon. The anticipation of what might be around the next corner, the patience it takes, and the moments that suddenly unfold in front of you are what I enjoy most. You never really know what the day will bring, and that is what keeps me coming back, trip after trip.
